OUR STORY
DOCUMENT sees the team behind Motion and Marble Factory continue their passion for building underground communities and scenes in former industrial spaces. Breathing life into the former 90s document storage facility, its rebirth as DOCUMENT is like nothing else on offer in Bristol.
The venue is a six-part jigsaw consisting of FACILITY, RECORD, GALLERY, YARD, CONCEPT, and STUDIO. All parts of the building present a unique offering to creative freelancers, entrepreneurs, and locals through the opportunity to access, grow, and become part of Bristol’s vibrant community right in the heart of St Jude’s.

LOCATION
DOCUMENT is a five-minute walk away from the city’s main shopping district Cabot Circus. The 90s document factory is tucked away on the unassuming Pennywell Street in the St Jude’s area.
GETTING HERE
The nearest local train stations include Stapleton Road Station and Lawrence Hill, both a 20 minute walk from the venue. Bristol’s largest train station, Bristol Temple Meads, is also around a 20 minute walk away.
The nearest bus stops to the venue are Lamb Street and Thrissell Street (both on Stapleton Road) which are around a five minute walk from the venue.
Bristol Coach Station is part of the national coach network via National Express and other providers.
Bristol Airport is 25 minutes away by car and the Bristol Flyer bus runs a service that goes straight into central Bristol Bus Station.
